Pitch invasions get you nowhere really except heavy fines and points deductions.
The only way we are going to get rid of our owner is the 'not a penny more' route which is the last resort. It's already been mentioned that if Reading get thrown out of the EFL (and the EFL will have to go through with that unless they are sold in the required time) that gives us a possible life line.
I'm afraid we have to wait until it's impossible for us to stay up.
If we are relegated and the owner has not sold then that is the time to force administration.

The Blackpool fans managed to get Bloomfield Rd classed as:
An "asset of community value" (ACV) is a building or land nominated by a local community group and recognized by the local authority as being important to the social well-being or interests of the local community, potentially eligible for the "Community Right to Bid" if it is sold.

i recall a lot of Blackpool fans boycotting the home games, but still turning up outside on match day, protesting that way.
while a smaller percentage still attended the home games.

With the Christy Trust it will help protect the Clubs Stadium, if that is what the ultimate goal of the owner or new owners of the Club is.
I was Intrested to hear what the Blackpool fans did, my only problem if that’s what people want to do to try and force a sale, what will it do to the Club financially before Whittingham sells, would it be financially catastrophic?
If the current bid goes through, with how they have conducted their bid, I’m sceptical of their long term plans, I cannot believe they have not handed in enough paper work to pass the Test after all this time.
Billy bodger wrote:Will that lead to no money or significantly less money for the Club to attract players for next season? With that leading to us not having a good enough squad to be competitive in either League we end up in.
Having said that I’m happy to hold off getting a season ticket if it achieves a quick reaction by Whittingham to move to sell the Club to a different buyer than the prospective new owners, who cannot submit enough evidence to pass the EFL Test after months of prevarication on their behalf.
I’m still thinking about joining the “not a penny more protest” next season, though I will probably continue watching live football like I have done for 61yrs.
I’ve been asked to go with my son-in-law and grandson to watch the Dollies, now that’s a step way too far.
Personally I think Whittingham won’t be bothered one bit either way, he’s probably still in a position where he will make some money either way.
It’s just all a mess, what’s right, what’s wrong if your a fan?

Nobody wants to boycott, we all love the football club and just want to go back to being supporters again. We will never have our club back whilst Whittingham owns the club so we need to take direct action against him.
Football is nothing without fans.
