Where is Greg Leigh is he injured?

I think Arthur needa to show a bit more especially with his final ball. At the moment he looks like another Jordan Slew for me.

I'm also surprised to see Leigh out, it must be illness/injury? Connor Pye on the bench, might see a youngster getting some game time

I felt he looked super shakey the first 15-20 minutes of the match over the weekend before growing in to the match. Maybe SR is giving him some rest?

Ohhhh, that was close. Should have squared the ball out to the top of the box but I don't blame him for taking the shot.

Yes he seemed to give the ball away a lot on sat. However I thought Mellor had a bad game at Blackburn.

Decent first half. Periods of domination from both sides.

Hope we don't regret not finishing some of our chances.

Millers look a bit better than Shrewsbury! Good to see both teams playing with a bit of pace and intent though. Perhaps need to look somewhere else with goal kicks occasionally given that Stockton is permanently bracketed.

Massive gulf in set piece quality tonight, theirs have been excellent and caused us massive problems, ours have rarely got close to a Morecambe head

Tough luck.

Rotherham came out to win in the second half, we regretted not finishing our chances as I predicted.

Not too bothered by the loss itself but a bit disappointed that it seemed like we didn't have much of a plan for getting in on goal.

Can I pretend my 1-0 prediction was accidentally flipped and I actually meant a 1-0 loss?

We lost 1 - 0 against a team who were in the championship last season

No disgrace at all

We go again at Gillingham

Also Ipswich 1 point from 9 says it all

Ref had some weird ideas book jokull for time wasting but ignored them when they did

No shame in that loss, Rotherham are the best team we've played in my opinion. We are doing OK in this league so far. We'll done to the team..

some strange results in L1 tonight, Sunderland and Ipswich both beaten, Shrewsbury's beaten again and on 0 points.

tough league L1 with 4 going down instead of 2 in L2

Your right Andy D

Ipswich 1 point from 9
Wigan 4 points from 9
Charlton 1 point from 9
Doncaster 0 points from 9
Fleetwood 0 points from 9

So our return is not too bad after 3 games

Very early days but we are competing

That was an eye opener. That was definitely a step up in class. The pace was a yard or 2 quicker and the passes were fizzed about. We competed brilliantly but I think we gassed with 10minutes to go. A great game to watch with another fantastic crowd.

A big step up for us tonight. They're a good side, know what it takes to get out of the division and managed the game superbly once they scored. Think we did well given our injury situation, especially first half. Haven't seen a poor performance this season yet and that bodes well.

If Obika or Ayunga were fit we could maybe rest Stockton for twenty minutes in a game or just change the system

Just got to get through first 5 / 6 weeks till we get Ayunga back

Rotherham were just a shade better in everything. A little bit quicker, a little bit crisper, a little bit stronger and they managed the game well too. And we lost to Rotherham's goal of the season.

When we consider our injury crisis, with no left-back available, no alternatives up front, and now, no goalkeeper to put on the bench (making it even more worrying when Andresson got booked!) then that's certainly no disgrace, against a side which is still, basically, a Championship side.

Rotherham were the best team we've played so far this season, including Blackburn Rovers. Saturday, we go again and hopefully pick up some points.

Rotherham looked a strong team despite all their time wasting in the last half hour. The referee was abysmal and has no place to be refereeing a League 1 game. The sooner the injured players return the better as some of the players replacing them are not good enough. I am unconvinced about the quality of players like Wes McDonald and Arthur Gnahoua.

A bump in the road. We'll learn plenty from the game.

Kyle Letheren has hurt his shoulder. Andre is also injured. Jokull is about to receive an international call up. He was absolutely gutted about conceding.

Greg Leigh was simply rested so we don't flog him too much after his serious injury.

Aaron and Ryan likely to be back at the weekend, Gibbo another week or so.

My MOTM was O''Connor.

There are times when in this league we will be beaten by on the day a more professional team who knew how to manage the game when they are in control thanks to a 1 nil lead.

Rotherham still have the awareness of a Championship club and on the night where quicker in thought and quicker in dealing with whatever attacking intent we had. No disgrace in being beaten but some lessons will have been taken on board by SR and Co and we now know the levels we have to seek to become a mid table force in EFL1.

Once again the home support was excellent but let's hope that this one setback doesn't deter fans from making up the numbers again.

With PNE and Wednesday our next home games then the continued support of the 3500 is needed even more than ever.

I think we are all aware that some of our players are maybe not EFL1 standard, but there is no need to single anyone out. Robbo is more aware of this than anyone and is at pains to stress that we are 'a work in progress' and 'at the start of a project which has a long way to go'. Rotherham looked strong all over the park and so they should be having retained the bulk of their championship squad. They are looking to bounce back up asap and probably have a good chance.

We are going to see many similar teams this season starting with Sheff Wednesday a week on Saturday. We need a reality check every now and again and I still think fifth from bottom will be a massive success. Consolidation is what it's all about for the time being.

In respect of crowds even though we lost last night the entertainment factor was still there and I didn't hear the moaning which was common under a previous regime. No reason why we can't maintain a healthy average throughout the season.
