Thought you might interested to know that Sammy McIlroy lined up in the Manchester United Legends team that played against the Exeter City Legends at St James' Park (THE St James' Park!) this afternoon.

United won 4-2 with Sammy scoring. The other United goals came from Dennis Irwin, Peter Davenport and Ben Thornley.

The attendance was 1,931.

No chance of Elam playing! Maybe he could play for Morecambe Legends or indeed a few other teams as well.

We played Liverpool Legends last April. These games seem to be quite popular, although I have to admit they don't particularly appeal to me.
