Everyone knows Jimbo is a mate of mine and it is great to see him back in the side.He had an illness at the begining of the season and has worked hard to get back in the side, talk of Sammy bringing in defenders must have spurred him on.He had a good game against Bury when not fully match fit,i wasnt there today but at least we kept a clean sheet.Well done Jimbo.

Jim was excellent today, he seems to be quicker than last season and galvanises the team to perform with a load more passion. His great reaction at the end epitomised how he feels and is contagious. Lils dazzling smile summed it up...everyone was happy and played brilliantly.

Our fans were terrific too, the Ultras kept going on top note throughout the game. Apart from the abysmal stewarding, it was an afternoon to be savoured and used as a springboard for another classic Sammy Surge.
