The penalty shout!

The penalty shout!

What was that incident when there was a goal mouth scramble and loads of shouting about. I was in the Peter McCguigan stand and couldn't see what was happening. Could someone explain what happened please?

Well, there was a massive scrap for the ball as you will have seen, and Mullin was about to hit it somewhere and as he did one of the Barent players number 2 i think just flopped over and laid over the ball effectively bridging it, no one could kick the ball so it was a clear obstruction. I was baffled that it wasnt a penalty, the fella has to have hand balled it. :?

If it was obstruction it should have been an indirect freekick.

I was sat directly in line, their player did handball it, seconds after mullers tried to kick the ball, missed it, and booted their player, it was a strange situation, and in my opinion an unusual one for the ref to rule on, i think he tried to do the right thing, but he may find himself going to places like skye etc for a while for a year or two reffing teams with sheep making up the numbers

To be honest we had a chance to score before that when 2 of our players went for the same ball. I think this strange occurance was a result of that if I recall.

Which of the Morecambe players fouled the Barnet player for their penalty ?

we have given quite a few spot kicks away this season so far and not been awarded one have we ?
