O/T Missing Dog

O/T Missing Dog

Postby abc123 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 7:38 am

Our dog that we've only had since Sunday jumped our fence last night, am reporting to Warden at 9am today and rang kennels.

He is a brindle lurcher, with white chest and white socks on front legs. Is friendly and answers to the name of Ozzie. Was wearing collar and bright blue lead. Last seen Westgate area near Mitchell.

If anyone spots please could you call 07799058382. Thanks.

I would love to add my input here but it would involve alot of swear words.
Obviously not a dog owner.

Must admit, I read Morectalk's "reply" yesterday and thought about saying what I thought but held myself back.

I hope you have some good news or sightings abc123 mate ?

best of luck finding your dog

please bare in mind there is a lot of people who see stray dogs wondering about who do genuinely think they've been abandoned and take them home to adopt

so try not to think the worst case scenario

Very sorry, it's gone. I've only just re-visited this thread & realised that my attempt at humour was not good. You're right I'm not a dog owner or a dog lover, but I really I didn't mean anything by it.

I promise to send Animal Care in Lancaster £10.00 next week in the name of Shrimpsvoices to make up for it.

Sorry again to anyone offended - hand held high, head bowed low.

Possible sighting in Morecambe town centre near Smalleys Friday evening around 6.30pm. I was locking up at work at 7pm last night when I got a text from Seasider on here (thank you!)..but by the time I got someone down to go look it was around ten past seven and no sign.

Thanks for asking.

Is anyone in Bare? Another possible sighting in Mayfield Drive area tonight around quarter to seven, only just found out though :( Was being walked by a man and lead and collar matches description to a tee so if any Bare based members could keep their eyes peeled we would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Does you dog have a tag with it's name and address?

We once lost our cat for 2 weeks and he came back in the back of a police car :o someone had found him and saw the address and phoned the police.

Hopefully someone will do something similar for you.

No, because we'd only had him 4 days when he went missing, he was supposed to be getting microchipped next Tuesday as well
