LDV Paints Trophy thingie

Anyone know when the next round is? I've got a meeting that side of the water Wednesday 17th Sept, so may be able to travel on the 16th if there is a good reason to spend a night in a hotel!

Last year it was 5 weeks after the 1st round, so I assume it'll be the same this year, ie. 7th October. Hopefully I'm right as I'm off work that week! Unfortunately the Football League website doesn't have any details as yet.

ah bollox

Am I the only person who thinks there should be more midweek games at the start of the season, rather than in February when it's been pee'ng down for weeks without a break?

Oh, hang on a second

You're not the only person. I couldn't believe, when the fixtures first came out, that the first league midweek game wasn't until October. It seems rather ridiculous.
