Globe Arena Award

Postby Bls Shrimp » Sat Aug 14, 2010 8:21 pm

Couldn't quite hear enough of what was going on pre-match on the pitch with the certificate that was being handed over about the Globe Arena, something about being the first UK stadium for something. :?: :?: Anyone explain what it was for?

An award from the disabled supporters group..first in the country to achieve it...guess it means that the Globe has passed some sort of criteria...ahead of Emirates no less.

Prob means we were the first ground visited!! :D

Didn't think it was too clear today either..could do with it being turned up a little in the noisy stand. :)

There were times when we couldn't tell what was being said because the volume was too low.

I preferred the full belt of Christie Park even with the distortion. Please could the PA powers that be turn it up a notch? I think that the Shrimpettes missed the start to their routine because they couldn't hear the music.

The speakers definetly need adjusting on the mbw terrace behind the goal, stood four steps back could,nt here a thing......Looking at speakers there all positioned pointing to back of stand........Had to laugh when i heard on radio lancs we had state of art tannoy system with over 300 speakers, compared to forty at christie..... It was far better at christie.......Come on boys we need em tweaking......
