Good news for Drenchy.

Nice lad who has been unlucky in the last three years. He played a big part in us going up in 2007.

Hope it happens.

Agree. He really deserves a decent break (no pun intended). Hope he goes to Barrow and they do well in the Blue Square.

So how did that work out then?

Drench and Curtis would be good additions to strengthen their position in the BSP. I hope they do well along with Fleetwood, too.

Dave Bayliss was on Radio Cumbria this morning saying that unless a major benefactor came in to Barrow FC pdq, he was 99 % certain that they would NOT be signing Wayne.

That wouldn't stop him being available to Barrow on a pay as you play kind of agreement providing they could afford the wages. :?:

Just been chatting to Drenchy. He has heard rumours but not heard anything from Barrow officially. He is well up for it though.

Winning SV POTY in 2007 was a proud moment for him. Never really had a decent break since leaving. Passes on his best to all Shrimps fans and hopes to be at The Globe for the first game as a spectator or to see us when we play Barrow (if it comes off). He would do a great job for them.

I told him that he would recieve a heroes welcome as part of the Class of '07 as we never forget our own.
