In my opinion the greatest keeper in the world at the mo.
If only Joe Lewis had continued his Morecambe form, He could've been a contender.
Germany to win it for me.
Bstards, Would love Spain to win.
Not that keen on the Dutch, Boer War and all that.

i beg to differ, he's had some howlers in this World Cup compared to his own very high standards and last season in La Liga for Madrid

Pepe Reina as been unlucky not to have had a start

OK Dawzi me old mucker here's a question for you.
If Iker was born in Morecambe, would you have him in your England team. ( I know he'd be reserve to Baz at Morecambe))

The Spanish teacher in me can't let this one go. It's Iker Casillas (notice the lack of a 't')

With a t castillos means 'castles' in Spanish, but without a t casillas means a pigeonhole or a little box. I think I'd rather be a castle !

Having said all that I think he is Basque so it could mean owt in that language.

It pains me to say it but the Krauts were out of this world against the Argies, for sure they will miss Muller in the Spain game but if they get anywhere near to that performance again spain won't get a sniff

Well.... You did miss the accent over the a in 'más' so you lose a couple of points. ;)

Wouldn't know an accent if it bought me a bier (note future world cup winners spelling)

To be the best goalkeeper in the world, you have to be good at all the goalkeeping skills. Casillas is an excellent shot stopper but his handling and cross catching is very poor. Also, his positioning on crosses is poor, he always starts at the front post in corners making him have to back pedal to reach the ball.
