Surely the club buying train tickets for each member of the squad and backroom staff would cost more than running a coach there and back? Especially all the way up to Morecambe..

Probably check-in to the Holiday Inn for a nights-kip before heading back south

Hey, that was a stroke of luck! Turns out I did drive their train from Euston after all! Recognised Benson and Roberts at Euston so couldn't resist a quick intro telling them their driver is a Morecambe fan, before wishing them a comfortable journey and hoping it might've played on there minds for a few minutes, heh-heh! 8-) Slow run meant we were about 20 mins late into Lancaster so not the smoothest of journeys....

...they travelled up by train....and home by coach!! Logistics of getting back to Dagenham by tube that time of morning I beleive.

Have to say after years of travelling to Christie Park, I'm glad it was us who played the last game there and being part of history. Your players, staff, supporters and everyone connected with the club deserve more........

would much rather it had been you guys on the pitch at Wembley in 9 days time!

thats what pitch invasions are about...but I bet none of the media cover it....they'd much rather cover violence like the Luton scum.....

It would be nice to think that the Globe will be just as atmospheric, but I have my doubts.
And its further to walk from the York!!

Good luck for next season!

It's not that much further from the York, down the cycle path to Westgate straight in to the Away End.

Wish you all the best of luck in the Final, it would be good to host you at the Globe lets just hope you can win at Wembley and then we draw you in a cup game (home tie).

All new Stadiums take a while to get used, hopefully the North Stand crowd will use the new home end so the atmosphere will be just as good. We're still the same fans, stewards, officials, board etc. Come on up for our first game there, you'd be made as welcome as ever.

Good luck to you in the final, although I still wish it was us ;)
