They lost 1-0 to a penalty in the last 10 mins. Stringfellow was sent off when he gave away the pen.

I went today (first time in years been down there and I know why it took so long to go back now - never again), god it was awfull !! Jarvis (who I thought looked good for us) showed flashes and that was about it. That Connerton.... awful Crewe are welcome to him

Roll on next Saturday for a proper game !

Incredible. They finished 21 points above Colwyn Bay.

Perhaps now the Lancaster Guardian will give main coverage to the main team in the district.

We spotted Colwyn Bay walking thru Lancaster at 12.30...emerging from hotel.
Wished them all the best...looked like Rigoglioso at head of line?
Shame for my mate who follows City but that's how the play offs can pan out!!

What sort of play-offs don't have the final at a neutral venue? That's trash!

It makes some sense though at those levels - when your average attendance is only just pushing 200 it would be financial idiocy to hire out anywhere else - even a stadium like ours would be a massive overkill.

Also of note is that the semi's are only single-legged. Games are played at the stadium of the team who finished highest, hence Lancaster were in Skelmersdale on Tuesday.
