I don't wanna build my hopes up with Predictor, but surely Bury in the play-offs would be good business for us? :)

Rather scarily I've just done one allowing for us to draw on Saturday, allowing for Aldershot and Daggers to win and other results to be a mixed bag (but nothing overly optimistic). Then having us beat Aldershot, Darlo managing a draw at home to Daggers and another set of realistic results (not overly optimistic or pessimistic) and we scrape into 7th on goal difference, to set up a play off with Rotherham!

Aaagh! Getting tense.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

That's exactly what i got when i did it after Saturdays game, which is better than a few weeks ago when it didn't matter how many times i did it we always finished in eight place.

The picture should be much clearer after we play Shrewsbury, at worst i hope we have a chance even if we are depending on other results going our way.

how about this scenario...

Port Vale, Bury & Rotherham all win tomorrow.
Aldershot draw.
Us, Chesterfield & Northampton lose.

We'd go in to the last game at Christie Park needing a 3-0 win. Get it and we'd swap places with Aldershot on goals scored and they'd miss out on play offs. 1-0 or 2-0 win and we'd miss out on goal difference!

I don't think my nerves would be able to take that!

So how did that work out then?

With the respected run-ins, I still have us finishing in 8th place on goal difference behing Rotherham, Aldershot, Dagenham and Northampton (placed 4th to 7th). Let's hope it's not the case!

Interestingly though I have Barnet to be relegated, with Grimsby somehow clawing their way out!

Heard an interview on the radio this morning and Brett Ormerod's Dad said he had only been to see his son play once and on that occasion he lost so he has never been to watch him since and is'nt even in the 11,000 sellout at Bloomfield Rd. to watch him on Sunday :o

Prefers to listen on the radio instead.

Would rather be watching us fight it out at the top than what's going on at the bottom, although if it is 1.1 after 89 minutes tomorrow and a penalty is awarded God only knows

Bring on Carl Baker!

Someone had better bring wet wipes me thinks 8-)

p.s. If the the bookies are right they have us all down to win (we are 11/8) tomorrow, apart from Port Vale. This would mean us being in 7th above Chesterfield on goal difference going into the Aldershot game
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
