The final goodbye

The final goodbye

Postby Christies Child » Tue Apr 27, 2010 6:31 pm

Listening to Rod and Quinny on Radio Lancashire this evening brought a lot of memories flooding back. But without doubt those memories will be over shadowed by the events about to unfold in the final days of Christie Park.

For me, there will be a few tears in my eyes as the curtain comes down at CP. But those will be but a trickle, as to those when the bulldozers move in and demolish the old stadium. It will then become a harsh reality that for a few months Morecambe FC will have no official home.

However if that is the price we have to pay to guarantee the security of our club, so be it.

Tears of despair will be replaced with tears of joy when we take our places at The Globe Arena.

:D :D :D

"Red Sonia" asked Rod about where the North Stand was going.

Rod said "watch this space" and the club were talking to several other clubs about moving it.

According to Rod arrangements are in hand to cover the period of time when we are homeless.

Social Services are only a 'phone call away!

Just listening now... that montage was a great start!

So how did that work out then?
