Should we do a Mick McCarthy ?

Play a weakened side against Notts County in the hope of maybe improving our chances of winning the remaining 3 games which I think would be enough to get into the play offs.

I'm sure Rochdale would love us if we did that.

I think a draw at Notts would be an unbelievable result and as big as any win we've had recently.

However, if we are losing and out of the game I would like to see Wilson rested as he's looked extremely tired towards the end of games recently.

We aren't in the position to be prioritising games. As we are 8th we need to be fighting for every point that will get us into the playoffs, especially as we've no more midweek games this season.

Or we could play a full strength side that has the chances of beating them, like we did at home. We might just turn out to be their bogey team this year and do the double over them!

At the end of the day we need to try and nick some points from our away games, even if we might not be favourites.

No, Sammy should put out a side that he feels gives him the bast chance of getting a result.

Regardless of this, our play-off aspirations could come down to goal difference, which is in our favour compared to a number of other clubs in the hunt.

Defeatist garbage!
No way should we play a weaker side.
How about beating them again? They don't even have a world class defender and future
World Cup winning manager now

This would be acceptable thinking if we were playing a team that was near un beatable, but we've already beat them once this season.
Get over it ;)

Interesting suggestion but, for me, no.

We don't have a clue where our points might come from in these last few games. We might defend really well on Saturday and Mullin nod down a free-kick for Jevons for the only goal of the game.

Then we may lose at home to Daggers but then win our last two.

Can't mess about like that. Best team each game and then if we don't do it, at least we can't be blamed for a daft gamble that still didn't pay off.

Darlington beat the top of the league team this week. In this league there have been shocks and upsets all season, hopefully Saturday will present with another one! Let's go there to win!!!

Why play a weakened side when we can beat them?

a definite NO.

If we played a weak team and lost 5 nil our goal difference and morale would suffer.

Hell NO!!!
We have 4 games left this season and we need to give 100% for each one just because Notts County are top does not mean that they are unbeatable remember we beat them already this season.

I think we have a daft gamble every week by leaving one of our most consistant players on the bench . ;)
