Another fine win for the Reserves by 5 - 2 over Tranmere and another Bentley Masterclass. Jim's coaching and encouragement obviously gets through to the team as the young lads seem to improve with every game. Keep it up Jim, the management ladder is waiting to be climbed.

Saw Jimbo in action last night and was highly impressed. The one thing that stood out for me was that when a player did something wrong he didn't bollock them but explained what they should have done. Even those fellow first team squad players responded to his encouragment.

Somebody mentioned that he's moving into the area this summer after his wedding. If true that suggests he sees his future in managment close to home.

As for the game, was impressed with a centre half formerly of PNE called Smythe and the sub Parkinson who played wide right with a hell of a lot of pace. Young centre forward Ball took his goals well and good to see Henry back on the field.
Heroes get mentioned but Legends never die.
