Yep, met a chap and his young grandson who had left 10 minutes early to get some chips and then came back to the club shop to buy some Aldershot tickets. All they had seen was us getting hammered 3-1 at home.

No you don't!

Never, ever leave a match early. Ninety nine times out of a hundred a game like that would drift to the final whistle at 3-1. Stay to the end and that once in a hundred, something bizarre will happen.

The early-leavers deserve to be gutted at missing out.

never leave a match early. even if we are down and out you should continue to show your support to the bitter end, no matter what.

apparently a group of Crewe fans left early to catch an earlier train and were at Lancaster Station when they were told the result!

Still, at least they left the ground happy and part way home too.

So how did that work out then?

At 3-1 down i left the paddock to nip out for a quick ciggie (as the gates had been opened). I saw a good few people leave the ground whilst i was out there. Thankfully, I decided to go back in - on the North Stand, for what would prob be my last time.
I've enjoyed some great moments in the NS but to go out watching those last 10 mins from there surpasses anything i could of dreamt of ..... To all involved with MFC yesterday -
I THANKYOU.

Numpties is the word that describes folk who leave early. No matter how bad a game has been true supporters always should stay behind to applaud team off the pitch.
