Well for me as I only stared realy to support the team 5 years ago it has to be our Wembley play offs win

Its ok Jamie i only moved to Morecambe 3 year's ago and if it was not for my step-daughter i would not bother with Morecambe but after watching Morecambe vs Hereford this season i was hooked i am normally a Charlton fc fan.

Game for me was the Nott's County game and seeing Kasper's face after Morecambe's second goal went in lol

Simples......WEMBLEY and PNE - first time at Deepdale.

Both games against Ipswich. Tremendous support both home and away. Although we got beat in both games it was the first real taste of the big time especially as we were still non league then.

Obviously beating Exeter City at Wembley was THE memory of the decade for its sheer importance to our club.

Others would be beating Cambridge United who were then in League 1 was huge as it was the first league team we had beaten since beating Chester in the 60's.

Also the FA Cup win at Chesterfield was a wonderful memory too.

Now in my 49th seaon of supporting Morecambe and i thought Wembley in 74 would never be topped but the wins over Exeter, Preston and Wolves within a few months of each other were unbelievable

When Danny Scored THAT Goal at Wembley! Simple really

1/ Hearing the final whistle go at Wembley and thinking we've finally done it.

2/ Being in the Carling Cup draw the following season and drawing PNE, then beating them!

3/ First football league game at Christie and a magnificent gesture from the Barnet fans to unfurl that banner. Brought a lump to the throat!

4/ Hearing that finance and planning permission were both in place for the new complex. Sad to leave Christie but probably a good chance of financial stability to move forward again.

Wayno`s goal at York, brought tears to my eyes and Ged Brannan in stitches at Wayne will be my lasting shrimps memory

Chesterfield and Chester in the fa cup were exciting too.

Oxford in the FA Cup, when they were a huge team, given a real scare by the minnows. It rained, and rained, and rained some more. I don't think I've ever been as cold & wet in my life. Never imagined that we would be a League Club, a division higher than them.

The Cambridge game as mentioned before, to me we 'came of age' that day, suddenly I knew we could keep growing.

Barnet, again as already mentioned, that banner. But also just the occasion of being in the league. And not getting beaten in our opening match was great too!

Wembley weekend was fantastic and felt surreal when we won, but for me after beating PNE
in the first round, beating Wolves in the second round was amazing! Watching MMcC stomp off
at the end of the game, and that fat bloke in the box getting really wound up from a bit of
MFC banter.
Carl Bakers last minute penalty to sink Chester was fantastic too.

3 trains followed by 1 underground journey followed by a sprint up wembley way to get in to wembley just as exeter scored (bloody trains)..
Fantastic day, brilliant result,incredible atmosphere.
Following the match my mate and i ( and inflatable Cup) had a few hours to kill so went in search of a friendly pub to have a celebratory drink.
Finding an oldy worldy pub we got a pint and sat down in a strangely dark bar, after a couple of minutes of talking we were sudenlly startled by bright light and loud music.
This was followed by a couple of young ladies wearing nothing more than makeup and a smile who proceded to throw themselves around big shiney poles.

The perfect end to a perfect day , lets hope we make the play off final again some time soon.

Bournemouth away on a tuesday night last season thanks to the fa - i gave sicknote grief all evening worth 600 mile round trip just for that Also nice to see swhan jalal applaud the 60 or so fans who made the long journey even after all hassle he got whilst been with us on loan

I would say beating Cambridge in 2000 which gave us the initial belief that we could grow as a club, but the penalty shoot out we lost to Dagenham in the semi final play off of 2003 is a memory as well, although a painful one, but again showed us with hindsight that we were getting closer to achieving something.

1. The Full Time whistle at C.P when we had made it to Wembley .... still sends shivers down my spine now !!!

2. Beating PNE, and standing outside Wolves ground being interviewed for sky sports about the morecambe v wolves game, and about 7 wolves fans shouting at me and interupting my interview singing " freddy's gona get ya " to which my reply was " yeh we will see wont we " wud of loved to seen there smug faces at full time. 3. Joe Lewis double save against Peterbrough, possibly the greatest save i have ever seen

4. My Header in the car wash stand, and resulting in me hurting myself the stick i got from that

What about the degree of magnanimity shown by Morecambe fans in the North Stand after we'd lost on penalties to Dagenham & Redbridge in the play-off semi? Not many clubs have fans who, having seen their team cruelly lose a knock-out (Robbie Talbot open goal???) would tolerate the opposition fans invading 'their' pitch with such good grace.

Or the pitch invasion after the Ipswich FA Cup game, resulting in fans swapping shirts & scarves. A different type of defeat but still an occasion when we demonstrated that what it means to be a Morecambe fan isn't quite the same as being a fan of practically anyone else!

Many different memories for different reasons.

Carleton after Wembley, the point at which I could switch off after taking three coaches to Wembley, Wayne giving me his Wembley pass when he walked into the Carleton. The party in there was great, thank you to everyone there who made it great.
Especially Rod Taylor who for me IS Mr Morecambe, Rod Taylor you are my hero.

My son, James getting knocked over by a loose shot from a Barnet player at half time, '05. North stand erupted with laughter at seeing him pole axed, but then booing when seeing this 5 year with blood running from his nose crying and the Barnet player not apologising. The reserve keeper gave the player some stick until eventually he jumped over the boards to take him onto the pitch as an apology, the keeper told my son to try shoot past him not realising James is left footed and didn't need a run-up, James still crying shot and scored ('keeper muttering to himself as he picked it out LOL), more than the first team did that day.

The first competitive game we won as a Football League side, Preston away and the following tie in the competition, my in-laws being Wolves fans

Who knows what would have happened if Talbot had scored with that open goal. To ths day i still cant understand why as leading goal scorer he never took a penalty in the shoot out that day

Yes i was there to ,both were great days happydays in deed. Having a beer with Jimmy Glass after putting 4 past him before he got sent off at Kingstonian, top bloke a right Leg-end.
Also all 30 of us congoring with the drum after stuffing Woking 6 0.
Anouther pleasant evening was at Nelson in the snow in the Lancs cup while drinking a bovril.Wayne Hatswells silly own goal v Forrest Green to put the Shrimps in the next round of the FA Cup.
Wembley was rather special to and the 1st game v Barnet in the Football League
