Highest position in history?

Am i right in thinking 7th in Lg2 is our highest ever League position? I seem to remember briefly being in 8th position season before last but I could be wrong.

All those shouting for McIlroys head six weeks ago really knew what they were talking about, I mean really? what has he ever done for us?

Thought we might've been! I think that was between the Chester game on the Friday night and the next League 2 match on the Saturday dinnertime, after which we dropped back to 7th....
