Changes on the Cards Tomorrow

Ian Craney has a hamstring so is doubtful, Danny Adams suspended.

Maybe Twissy will get a start?

The Manager is certainly demanding a win :D

Two ways to go then, I reckon.

Either bring Henry in and stick to 5-3-2 like this

Roche
Hunter, Parrish, Bentley, McStay, Wilson
Drummond Stanley Craney/Twiss/Duffy

Mullin Jevons

Or go 4-4-2 with Wilson as orthodox left back, McStay or Moss at right back and Hunter pushed into a four man midfield.

And...... about demanding a win.. I reckon he may try to take a few more risks and that will bring some wins, I think.

BUT there may also be a few defeats as well, some of them probably unexpected. I hope people don't start getting panicky of that happens.

Of course, if it happens too often then we'll all start to worry.

But I still think we're looking a good side, despite all the injuries to key players.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Yes another interesting one. The Moose could also be available for a comeback ;)

I can't see us taking "risks" tomorrow  Save those for the teams that people expect us to beat like Torquay, Darlington, Crewe, Lincoln and Northampton :o

Morecambe been in the Football League 3 seasons.

Torquay joined League 1927 ~ Highest gate 21000+

Darlington joined League in 1920 ~ played in what is now the Championship and had a crowd of 14000

Crewe founder members of the Football League ~ Were in the Championship just 5 years ago. A crowd of 25000 saw them draw at home to Spurs in the FA Cup, Ex players such as Stan Bowles, David Platt, Danny Murphy, Bruce Grobellaar and Robbie Savage

Lincoln are in their 102nd League season, were also in the Championship, have won L2 with the record number of wins and hold the Conference crowd record of 9000+

Northampton have been in the old 1st division (now Premiership) played in front of 24000 at home to Fulham and got to the 6th round of the FA Cup when George Best put 6 past them!

Sounds easy does'nt it?

How things have changed eh? :D

Here is the end of the 1st lesson

due to injuries & suspensions id be tempted to go with a flat back four in a 4 2 3 1, and give Moss another chance to prove himself

---------------Roche----------------
----Moss Parrish Bentley Wilson----
----------Stanley Drumond --------
-----Duffy-----Jevons-----Twiss----
---------------Mullin------------------

where-as it reads to me that your second or third ever post was questioning someone's sanity for not being the same opinion as you held.

Perhaps if you offered a reasoned argument to the debate, you'd have a valid opinion offered as a reply? Hopefully you will try this as your post count nears double figures?

So how did that work out then?

I would like to see us stick with the 5-3-2 formation, for one thing i think we look more solid as a unit and Hunter and Wilson both played well in the wingback positions against Shrewsbury so i would just put McStay in for Adams and Duffy in for Craney, though hopefully Craney will be fit enough to start.

______Mullin___Jevons_____
_________Twiss__________
___Drummond_Hunter_____
Wilson______________Duffy
__McStay_Bentley_Parrish__
_________Roche__________

What I'd like to see but I think Sammy will be a bit more conservative.

---------------------------roche-------------------------
-----Hunter-----Parrish-----Bentley-----McStay-----Wilson
Curtis----------Drummond----------Stanley---------Duffy
---------------------------Twiss------------------------
-----------------Mullin-------------Jevons---------------
this looks like the best we have got at the moment.
