Did we throw a sell-on clause into the sale?

Good luck to the lad but how will our sell on clause work if they accept a large loan fee and next to nothing in January as the actual transfer fee.

you do not get a loan fee, any transfer fee agreed would benifit us, and southport, I think he will do great and , in light of his familys terrible time lately, wish them all a better roll of the dice.

No I think they've already had their cut from what we got from Stockport (if it was all paid!?)

The Mike Baker story has been spread abut a lot of boards - I saw it on the Spurs one and put a link to Matty's justgiving site, maybe a few will see it and contribute.

RIP Mike.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I thought there was a sell on clause when he signed for us which would have been repaid to Southport when he signed for Stockport and I'm quite sure I remember a transfer fee from Stockport of around £175,000 with a £50,000 sell on clause which if right and if he signs for PNE permanently means we have a few grand coming our way.

Well done - pleased to see him go this far, particularly after both his recent and more long standing difficulties.

Thought we went off the boil in the latter half of his season with us, but it was obviously a temporary blip.

Good luck Carl!

I haven't seen it mentioned in Preston North End's own bible that is "The Lancashire Evening Post" .
