Shocking defending

I really hope owen has a good season at utd surley we can't go to the World Cup with heskey as our number 1 striker.

Spain have Villa & Torres we have Heskey & Crouch not quite the same.

We prob have a decent midfield & defence (apart from tonight) that could get us to the quarter final maybe semies at a push but when we come up against the top teams with qualty players we will be found wanting.

Same old England, giving a world class side a 2 goal lead then dominating them in front of their own fans and getting two back! They have played very patiently and outplayed the supposedly technically superior Dutch! Two daft goals but they have kept their shape and their heads! Well done in jumping to conclusions!

Nice contribution from James Milner on his debut too.

I just hope South Africa isn't just a year too far for David Beckham.

Capello is, as usual, spot on, he needs to play back in Europe to compete

I still stand by the fact that Heskey will not win us the world cup.

Now Defoe & Cole that's a different matter ;)

What are you saying, Barry had a bit of a bad game today, so if barry and gerrard played nicely would you say, its amazing how well barry plays when lampard isnt in the team??

If burnley draw with manunited, will you say, its amazing how well burnley did coz ronaldo was not in the team :?:

If my mum had balls she would be my dad, etc

Went to this instead of the Preston match :(

Didn't think we were too bad, the goals were a bit sloppy but i'm sure Fabio won't let them be that loose for a proper match.

I Was very impressed with carlton cole, the centre backs had real trouble against him, If he keeps that kind of form up then him and rooney upfront would be a great partnership at the world cup

James milner wasnt too bad either 8-)

its only pre-season and yes i know they shouldnt be making those mistakes but come the world cup they SHOULD be on top of their game and these mistakes wont happen then it would be 2-0 not 2-2

Agree entirely with Posh. It was a decent game to watch and we gifted them both the goals. Very similar as to how Morecambe do at times.

they did well to score 2 goals and get a draw but we should not have been 2-0 down in the first place
