Rumour has it that Jimbo may be back on Saturday so hopefully he will add some muscle and vocal support at the back maybe with Artell starting on the bench

Ithink it is midfield that is the main problem ,it is made up of attack minded players who cant adapt to a defensive situation plus they often get in each others way with this style of play

I think we played a championship side who will be up near the top of the table again, come on guys - We played great on Saturday in the league, and I'm sure we will do on Saturday at Burton.

I agree we will be playing against a team at our own level and the lads will want to get this result out of there system. would be great if we could take the same numbers down to Burton, any chance?

Not a chance we'd take 1700 to Burton hehe, I'd say 500 or so which isn't bad for us

The problem was Twiss on his own up front. Its extremely hard to play as as a lone front man, and Twiss did his best, better than I have seen him play in recent seasons. He seems a lot fitter, or more interested in moving around the pitch.

Without a real goal treat from us Preston were always going to push on and the pressure showed on the defence. I feel Sammys moan at the defence is a little hard on them. Danny was under pressure all game, but then why play him when hes never had the pace.

Other than some mistakes wasn't that bad.

The score line was because we tried to push up and got caught out.

Burton will be a different story with out first win.

I can`t comment on how well Twiss has played in the past, but he seemed to me to be caught off side quite a lot and then in the second half, seemed to spend most of his time being shadowed by their defender.
when we had the ball it got passed from defense to midfield, out to the wing and was crying out for an overhead pass down the wing for Twiss to run onto - but I don`t recall him making the run - I`m not intentionally being harsh - just saying it as I saw it. Any thoughts?

Twiss scored our goal with his right foot! To me that's a 6-5 victory!!
