That is so wrong, people can be so nasty and not realise what they are doing :roll:

As a previous steward at our club I'd like to think that we would have been more supportive and more than welcomed them into the ground, even if it was only 35 minutes to go.

However, my experience of stewards at some grounds is 'give somebody an orange jacket and they suddenly take on board a whole new character'.
Heroes get mentioned but Legends never die.

I remember going to Aldershot a few years ago. We asked a steward where the away end is. "top of the hill" so up we walks and it's a fair way up that hill get to the gate. it's just shut literally bang on 3pm :twisted:

can we get in please "no you will have to go to the home get now and walk round" so back down the hill in the home end gates and walk all the way round :evil:

Of course we missed the aldershots first goal while all this was going on.... also missed the second but that was our own fault for being in the bar

still the chavs climbing the netting in the away end was comedy value

best make sure you are on time if you are going to Aldershot this season. I can't belive that do they not want the money or something
