Rochdale have reportably rejected a bid of £100K from an unamed club for last seasons top scorer Adam Le Fondre. Did ALeF once play for Stockport when Sammy Mc was their Manager? I seem to remember something about the player being on our radar a few seasons ago.

   .....am in negotiations at the moment. However the interest I require may be too high but not as high as the 2500% demanded by some.....( reported on last nights BBC North West Tonight)

Rochdale had agreed a deal with Rotherham but has fallen through as the player wants more money!

...can't agree terms with the lad. He's been offered a supply of pies for life as well as peas but expects more. Maybe a guarantee of gravy would have sealed the deal.

We'll never know.

Now for the REAL target! ;) ;) ;)

He's returned to Rotherham and signed a 3 year deal. Don't think he will really replace Ruben Reid tho. There again who cares?
