Laptop O/T Advent 7086

daughter bought a new lap top as the old Advent 7086's k-------d er broken
but she has a problem the charger has completely broke and wont charge her old laptop so she cannot get the old stuff off and on to her new one as the old laptop wont powerup so anyone got a charger for and Advent 7086 that they don't want or can lend

Buy a hard drive housing. (like this... http://buy.maplin.co.uk/Free_UK_Deliver ... 139_v2.htm )
Take a screwdriver to old laptop.
Remove hard drive.
Insert hard drive in to the new hard drive housing.
Throw rest of old laptop away.

She now has a portable, external hard drive. I've still got a hard drive from an old laptop in a housing. After taking everything off that I needed I reformatted it and just use it as extra storage space.

She can also take this as a warning that she should have backed everything up anyway because instead of the power connector breaking it could have been the hard drive itself!
