Impressive friendlies

Your management has put together a very impressive set of friendlies this year including games against Premiership, Championship and League 1 clubs. As a matter of interest have you noticed much difference between the divisions and which team has looked the best against you? By all accounts it sounds as though you played really well against Tranmere particularly so it looks promising for you this year. Playoffs perhaps?

Burnley there first touch and movement was way to superior, but we played well to hold em out just for three goals

and the fitness level where on a par, id say.

Huddersfield had a new signing upfront who was very pacy and bagged a hatrick, and put question marks up about our defence when dealing with pacy players

again the fitness levels very good.

Plymouth we played very well the two new signing gave everyone hope for the coming season. and as a team everyone played well, we had the majority of possession and how we didn't score? just one of those days.

fitness levels very good again.

Well, Burnley looked classy, Huddersfield looked very sharp, Plymouth a little sluggish but improved and Tranmere looked like us, great going forward and all at sea at the back.

However, Sammi n Lills will have to decide what formation best suits the players available, we appear to have an abundance of footballing midfielders to try and fit in, when all are fit we should be OK, but the management still appear to be trawling for another forward!

As for the play-offs, lets see how we start!

Interesting replies.

I would think that Craney and Jevons might make a bit of difference to your performances. Jevons goal was his fifth in the pre-season games so far and he hasn't featured in most of them. I've always liked Jevons despite him only scoring 2 for Huddersfield last season. Craney seems to do very well in this league, but there have been question marks over him when he went to Swansea and Huddersfield in League 1. The Huddersfield fans questioned his stamina, but he was always getting in good positions to score and he has a very decent shot.
