That sounds something like what I've said elsewhere. I'm not that fussed about who we haven't signed or who we would have liked to sign. What matters are the squad we have on August 11th, they're the ones I'm interested in because they're the ones who want to play for us. As for the non-signings, good luck to them but look what they're missing ;)

The news about failing to sign the striker was disappointing but we couldn't sign the first full back we went for and ended up with a fantastic signing in Moss.

With contracts ending today and a lot of players being released, Sammy should also be able to land a decent striker.

Oh... Christies Child, can you let us know tommorow if Proctor is indeed training with the squad?

The striker we missed out on wouldn't have excited many of the fans who have limited knowledge of the lower leagues. He finds the net and Sammy believes that quality sticks with a striker no matter what league but missing out on him might mean we end up with someone better who knows.
Get over it ;)

It all depends on if I can get down but more importantly if Sammy agrees to allowing names to be posted on SVs.

Fair enough but yeah, any kind of training updates would be cool.

Same as last 2 seasons- we appear to struggle getting the full squad together until last minute. Fingers crossed for a desperate forward who cant get first team football elswhere!!

It's not just us you know.

It's happening throughout the game.

Players and Agents play one club off against another, looking for the best possible deal. As we have found out to our cost.

AFC Bournemouth fans think Curtis Allen is too small and not physically strong enough for League2

Your having a laugh :!: Released after less than a season at Shrewsbury just and I quote;
Ashikodi's career at Millwall effectively ended in February 2004 after a training ground incident that reportedly saw Ashikodi threaten a team-mate with a knife. The club launched an investigation into the events and the following month he left.

aha well that explains it, noticed he's had a lot of clubs but his goal record is not that bad considering the clubs he's played for, he seems to have good pedigree, but obviously not very popular in the dressing room
