O/T FA Cup

O/T FA Cup

Postby Keith » Sat May 17, 2025 4:57 pm

Who remembers when FA Cup final day was huge? The only live game on TV, and everyone watched? Streets were deserted.

Just remembered it was on, deep into the second half.

Come on Palace!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Well done to Crystal Palace and everyone involved with the club

Fantastic battling performance over a tippy tappy Man City team

Just proves that sometimes you don't need millions of pounds if you play as a team

Cime on Palace!

then playing the semi-finals at Wembley spoilt it.

also scrapping the European Cup Winners Cup(no fault of the FA) what was an extension of the FA cup playing the best of Europe straight into another knock out competition(no league format)

Derek ball at its best!

Funnily enough was watching Sean dyche on something the other day who said if you see where most goals come from it's all about getting the ball into certain areas quickly.

Derek ball works but you need a good midfielder making runs wildig/Phillips and three quality attackers. We just couldn't afford any this year.
