The Lad has a lot on his plate, I believe his default position is to protect the Club, as he sees fit, from many things including the ultimate actions of going down the road of administration or liquidation. He definitely try’s to keep the Club going and stop the club going under because of our poor owner, who’s actions are deplorable as an owner of a Football Club.
Rod and the BOD’s are not the enemy, but they have responsibilities and try their best to keep the Club going. I don’t think they get everything right, but who does and if they have ever deliberated over taking the Club into administration or liquidation who can blame them, it would have placated the fans who have believed for some time it was the best path too take, while shocking many others
The next 3-4 months are pivotal, for me let’s keep the Club going give it a go in the National League (not a fan going into administration now we are out of the EFL). One of the biggest issues is the NAPM campaign, yes I am joining it, but will it by itself push us into administration? NO!
Well if Whittingham sells its all rhetoric anyway isn’t it! and if he carry’s on saying he’s selling but he doesn’t, it’s on him. It’s all about what the effect of what Whittingham does and does not do, if he doesn’t fund the Club to the right level, that’s what is (and has), been destroying us, not the fans not, not Rod or the BOD’s, IT IS ALL ON WHITTINGHAM.
Lastly what I would say is if administration is ever seriously contemplated by the BOD’s they are open about it to the fans, what better way to put two fingers up at Whittingham, but by a common stand by the fans and the BOD’s standing together after being driven to distraction by a deplorable owner.
What is needed is a united front, not just the BOD’s taking action by themselves or a NAPM campaign by some fans trying to bring things to ahead. No we have in someways an independent BOD’s and we definitely have loyal passionate fans, if it’s ever done it must be jointly together that the way to do it. At the moment I think Whittingham has driven a wedge between the two, let’s stop him knocking it further in, making the divide between board and fans wider than the crack that is appearing.
If it’s ever done let’s do it together and put it all on Whittingham because it’s all on him.
