The early bird tickets on sale from Monday 21st April @ 10am, well if the ownership is not resolved and Whittingham is finally gone I would some think people will not buy them because of the NAPM campaign.

As I have mentioned in other threads after a lot of agonising and doing a U-turn on what I think about the NAPM campaign (not a protest). I will now be one of those who initially holds off if it’s not sorted by then.

Hopefully it’s sorted soon after what I read in the guardian. Just get the take over done and let’s start a new era and I will be back down at the Mazuma buying my season ticket.

Come On You Jason, get us sold.

Regardless of what transpires regarding the prospective new owners and our league status I will be renewing our season tickets for next year...the club and all the staff deserve our support...the NAPM hurts them, they are fighting for survival and this is the best you can come up with...

The fans gave it our all when we were in League One, but Whittingham lied and screwed us over.

I genuinely believe, if we are relegated to the National League, with Whittingham still in charge, we have one or two seasons before we're relegated again, at which point, the club will simply be unsustainable. Too large a debt and too big infrastructure.

If we don't do something now, when? And what else?

Hopefully, Not a Penny More will actually protect the jobs of the people at the club. If Whittingham sees that fans are serious, then he'll be motivated to sell while he still has an asset. If relegated to National League North, most of those jobs are gone anyway. Turning things around before that point is the only way to save them.

Different opinions are welcome, and I don't begrudge others seeing it differently, but genuinely, I'd like to know what alternatives there are?

I held a steadfast different opinion even as late as January/February this year, but I came to see it was delusional to keep on listening to Whittingham and a campaign is needed.

Is the NAPM campaign something that will harm the club more than Whittingham has, I don’t think so in the long term, as Keith explains above it might just save the Club.

The NAPM campaign is not one I have lightly come round to believe it is something the fans can do, even if it’s just to show Whittingham we have had enough while HE CONTINUES TO DESTROY OUR CLUB.

Just let’s try and get Whittingham out of the Club and if successful I will be down at the Mazuma buying my season ticket and giving my backing to the new owners.

Whoever that maybe, Panjab Warriors or A N Other, they have to prove to the fans they are steadfast and committed to funding our Club and bringing it back better than ever after the terrible last few years.

Lastly I will say Whittingham uses this Club while he slowly and painfully destroys it and I urge every fan to do what they believe is best for Morecambe FC, not everyone will come to the same conclusion and that’s fine, let’s see how things pan out before the new season in August, but a line has to be drawn and for me the NAPM campaign is now the best thing I can support, nobody else is coming up with an alternative other than dance to Whittingham’s tune and I’ve had enough.

I'd be surprised if it was a vote in favour of NAPM. The apathy of the average Morecambe fan is quite staggering. Lots of people sleepwalking towards a cliff edge.

If it’s resolved before the season starts I buy my season ticket, if it’s during next season I come back and pay on the gate or a match day ticket from the shop.

If it’s around the 30% mark that takes part in NAPM, that would be a great level of support for the NAPM campaign, as Hodgie1978 says. If Old Man Kensey is right and it’s not well backed because of the apathy of Morecambe Fans or that other fans believe it harms the Club to much that fine, each to their own.

Almost certainly I'm afraid. Most of the people prepared to take some form of action would In assume have joined the Trust by now so it would appear that even some of them are simply hoping for the best
The Trust cannot support any form of action if it's members are apathetic.

Absolutely no idea. Over the years I've repeatedly suggested that they should, as there are. alot of people on here, who don't use Facebook. Also, a LOT of people who read the forum but don't post. I've said the same to the club, but they don't post either. Even if they came on and linked directly to news stories on the official site. Peter McGuigan always disliked it because I refused to censor it, even when people posted stuff that I disagreed with, and the club DEFINITELY didn't like, so perhaps simply not having control?

The apathy from the majority of our fanbase is criminal, i've been saying it on here for years now. Happy to sit on their hands and snipe at others who have tried to force the issue.
