Just back to hotel in Milton Keynes and am really ANNOYED after watching that

1st half we played OK and competed 2nd half we played like a relegation team

Personally I think we are going down but hope I'm wrong

5 wins needed at least from last 10 games (possible yes probable NO)

These Anti-Derek Adam's post, it's like this if we'd Ged Brannan still in charge we'd be like 8 points adrift.

Blame the owner!

No-one doubts that Whittingham is the main problem, but Derek is not immune from criticism. Second half in particular today, and entire game last Saturday, we were utterly crap. It was obvious that MK were going to score, and if you read this thread back, you'll see that was said, when it was still 1-1. Bringing Dallas on in the 88th minute??? What's the point? To then say we were "excellent"? If Derek thinks that was "excellent", then we're going down, because today, we were beaten by a very poor side. Last Saturday, we were beaten by a very poor side. We set up not to lose against very poor sides... ...then lose anyway.

MK eleven shots, Morecambe four shots.
We had two shots on target, one of those was the penalty.

This against a team who were devoid of confidence, and had scored twice in six games, but could easily have had four against us?

When we scored, I thought we actually had a hope of staying up. But now, I struggle to see us catching Tranmere.

So how did that work out then?

Derek just said in his post match interview that today was an excellent performance

I'm sorry Derek it wasn't.. Others may disagree but I saw it with my own eyes and that was far from excellent

I think Derek is delusional thinking today’s performance especially the 2nd half was excellent!! If he thinks that performance today was anywhere near as good as the win mid week against Wimbledon he needs to go to specsavers! Plus what kind of signal does that send to the players that the turgid rubbish they served up in the 2nd half was excellent boy is he setting the bar extremely low! Whatever anyone says he should take the team away from home and have a BLOODY GO!! Once they got the equaliser today you could tell which way the game was going to go! It’s a risky tactic trying to get most of the points at home ! Unfortunately after Tranmere winning today I think we are pretty much relegated!

The match wasn't on Sky today so I didn't see it but is there anyone who watched it today agreeing with Derek's 'excellent performance' ?

Derek is protecting his players as he sees it from any criticism that may come their way.

I respect him for that but what he says in public may not what he says in the privacy of the changing room post match.....and that for me is the sign of good man management.

Don't display your dirty linen in public.....or something like that...

You may be right but it would seem to be going a bit far to use words like "excellent performance". Save the "excellent" bit for next weekend ;)
