Tranmere need a new manager!!

Tranmere have parted way with their Manager Adkins. Let’s hope they don’t have a new manager bounce when they get someone in.

Expect Ian Evatt our 'friendly' formerly Bolton manager to be a serious contender. Wouldn't think finance would be an issue.

Also Oldham Boss Micky Mellon and former PNE Manager Ryan Lowe are being mentioned on the rumour mill. Both have past associations with Tranmere.

As with nearly all new managers ( except Carlisle to date) I'd expect some reaction from the players which could be bad news for our chances of staving off relegation.

Carlisle visit Barrow tomorrow night and hope that Barrow can do us a favour...... :?: :?: :?:

Tranmere are in a slightly odd place financially. They're stable but I don't think they have surplus cash to chuck around - hence the very minimal January business and reluctance to get rid of Adkins. Last night's result against Accrington obviously just a step too far on the manager front.

They apparently have a takeover poised to go through with an American group, which was previously being held up by one of the group (who is a famous rapper) being on trial over gun charges. He was recently acquitted and it's very possible that this takeover happens pretty soon. If it does, they will likely have plenty to spend.

The crux of Tranmere's financial situation is essentially - how long will the takeover take to go through and can the would-be investors put any money into the club in the meantime?

Quite a few clubs pending sales going thru at the moment & struggling financially because of it including Shrewsbury who at present are staring league 2 in the face next season. Think our sale must be the longest in history tho
