Tranmere v Accrington o/t

Postby Redalert1970 » Tue Feb 25, 2025 7:48 am

Big game at the bottom of league 2 tonight

Would love a draw or an Accy win

What does everyone else think ??

We still need to start getting positive results though

Who would have thought we would want Accy to stuff them?

Don't usually bother too much about other results till around March, this season I started in November

Definitely not "o/t" as absolutely about us.

Anything other than a Tranmere win. Accrington win or a draw will be okay.

Also, Gillingham to lose to Fleetwood, preferably with a sending off too!!!

So how did that work out then?

Only if we get something on Saturday at Gillingham, while Tranmere play Port Vale

Tranmere are the worst team I've seen for a long time

Massive game v Gillingham on Saturday (they aren't out of trouble yet)

Looking increasingly like a two from three to who goes down. Getting above Tranmere had to be the goal

BBC lazy journalists

“ tranmere part company with Ian Dawes with technical director Nigel Adkins taking over “

Did that even not happen in September 2023 ?

While I agree at face value, and yes, getting above Tranmere is the primary goal… …actually, scoring a goal is the primary goal… but I think there are other sides tumbling into the mix. Gillingham are falling rapidly. If we win on Saturday, they are in trouble. And incredibly, MK Dons are collapsing too. Yes, a bit of a gap between the bottom three and Harrogate, but it is still a mini-league of perhaps six sides.
