We wouldn't even be in the top 10 budget wise in the National League

The whole situation is a mess and doesn't look like changing anytime soon

As the extra paperwork needed by the EFL even been put in or is it yet another smokescreen

I've thought for a very long time, this is nonsense, simply trying to make it look like the EFL are the 'bad guys', when in reality, the paperwork and evidence is very clear and straightforward, so any delay is on the part of the alleged purchasers or Whittingham, or both.

Maybe the trust can put some more pressure on Jason and ask him what's going on if anything ???

I seem to remember the EFL confirming that further paperwork had been lodged..........or maybe I'm imagining it :?

Wasn't that Whittingham's claim in the interview with Radio Lancs?

If it was the EFL, then I missed it.

Champions league final is on the 31st May which is considered the last game of the football season.
I believe that will be a 1000 days of being up for sale.
In my opinion that should be the day we take the battle to Jason's home. Questions need to be answered.

I will be getting an early bird ticket and will support the team whatever league we are in even if it's as low as step 9

I think it’s pretty certain that we will hit the 1000 day mark since we where put up for sale and it will be after the 2024-25 season has ended and we will all know if we have managed to stay in EFL League Two.

I still believe we can survive, it is possible and we can also survive Jason and that is how we beat him, we as a Club keep going. Hopefully that’s still in the EFL but if it isn’t we must stick by the Club and that is not sticking with Jason, as I said that’s how we beat him.

The rules on ownership of football Clubs and prospective buyers are not worth dot! The EFL will say due to their rules they cannot do anything about our situation. Pressure must be put on the EFL to stop what’s happening to Morecambe and other Clubs by updating those rules to stop good Clubs being slowly destroyed.

Hopefully the Governments Football Governance Bill will try to bring in rules that protect Clubs. There are many things being discussed but I would specifically like to see the following two things addressed.

How Jason allegedly funds our Club must be stoped, most people have an idea how he does it and it’s all legitimate!! but if true it’s just a way of the owner making money out of the Club at the expense of the Club.

Rules on New prospective buyers must also change, a time limit must be put on bids to prove they are worthy to pass the EFL rules if the time frame is not met the bid must be rejected to allow the owner to seek new bids. (I’m sure Jason has said he is locked into an agreement with those who are saying they want to buy the Club).

I know I’m going to get pushed back on what I have said because it’s a business and you cannot have one rule for the football industry and not other businesses or industries, but if those kind of changes do not happen there will be more Morecambe’s.

You have to give them credit. A lot would have walked rather than put up with the shit they have and that's from both sides, owners and fans.

How? What "rules" can they legally bring in?

We need the Football Governance Bill to go through, and give a Regulator real teeth. The top Premier League clubs don't want it. But I'm sure no Arsenal officials have mentioned it to Starmer while he's watching games for free from the Director's box.
