Salford 1 Morecambe 0

I don't know how we are still at 1-0. They have had so many chances, we should be dead and buried!
Some great saves by Burgoyne and one off the line by a defender.
We just need one lucky break a the other end.

Dackers gets pulled all over the place and never gets a free-kick, but defending a corner, gets pulled and we do, thankfully get a free-kick.

Why do laws change depending upon where you are on the pitch?

How was that not a penalty?

How was that not a penalty? Because it's Morecambe!

Salford deserved the win 100% (all about opinions)

We can't lose to Tranmere on Wednesday that's for sure (Tranmere have had extra days rest with not playing on Boxing Day)

Tranmere worst away record in league 2

Morecambe worst home record in league 2

The weather looks poor again on New Years Day as well (heavy rain from early morning till late afternoon)

Disagree , we played well and after Adam Lewis came on we should have beaten them , his energy changed the game and we should have won!

I wish we would start a game the same as we finish a game. We had a few chances in the last 10 minutes.. we are very close now to the drop...

Considering this lot beat Barrow 3-0, we did well to keep it to 1-0. Our big failing again was lack of shots, only 6 shots, 2 on target compared to their 16 shots, 6 on target. We had plenty of good possession, particularly in the first half, but we must start firing in shots at every opportunity.
Can't fault the effort by the team, and I think that we can still battle our way up the league.

Your right Angler we are in big trouble.. Just can't get a run of positive results

14 defeats from 23 games proves why we are bottom

The problem is if we are relegated, then I cant see us ever getting back into the league. We will end up fighting to stay in the national league. So this is basically it , it's time to throw some descent money in the transfer pot and bring in a couple of quality strikers...or we go down and that's that...

Whatever little pot of money we have we still won’t be able to compete with ANY of the other teams in our league , they will scoop up all the decent players and we will have to dip into the non league to try and find something decent ! .

I think loans run out on 31st Dec unless these are extended

Any new players wouldn't be able to play till Newport game at the earliest

Only saw the last 30 minutes due to being out on a family meal. However thought we held our own. Referee missed a sending off elbow to the head and a clear penalty for a barge in the back on Hope. True what they say when your down at the bottom very little goes your way!

Ref was shocking but doesn't hide the fact we could still be playing now and wouldn't score. Not only need a striker but a creative midfielder someone in the wildig/Adam Phillips role. It's not just scoring that's the issue we aren't creating anything either.
