Time for the manager to be bold.

Time for the manager to be bold.

It's obvious to all that we are incapable of scoring goals to win games. Maybe it's time for DA,time be bold and throw Saul Fox,into the mix and see what he can do. Play him alongside Hope and throw Dackers to the rubbish bin where he belongs or better still cancel his loan deal and, send him back to Salford assuming that they will have him back

We need to provide DA with some finances Not surehow much we pay Dackers but even if it was a single quid that's far too much.Coupled with the cup money we could put to a decent players wage or loan fee

Derek is nobody’s fool. If he thinks Akinde is ready I’m sure he’ll be given a chance. As for bringing in new blood. He might have a few quid to throw at it but as Radio Lancs stated earlier are we an attractive proposition for incoming players! Maybe not.

4-4-2

Hope-Slew up front.

So how did that work out then?

You could put Harry Kane up front and we'd still struggle to score goals. Far too simplistic thinking that a youth player, Charlie Brown or anything like that will change our fortune. We need creativity as well as a decent frontman. We need a goal keeper able to catch the ball and organise from the back.

We are trying to stay in a very competitive L2 with a National League North budget and that is why we are where we are. One person to blame but others at the club aren't blameless either!

!00% in agreement about the need for quality in mid field and after yesterdays shambles a new experienced goalkeeper....who will command his area.... :!: :!: :!:

WHEN DA brings in this much needed new talent let's hope it's before the Chelsea game as I fear a cricket score with the current crop of players.....although it would be typical of us to surprise the football world and keep the score to below 5-0... ;)

Unfortunately it’s going to have to be a goalkeeper, because of Moore’s injury, so it will be 3 -5 depending who Derek can shift on.

I was watching yesterdays game and there were shouts of change it directed at Adam’s, what did it for me is with us 1-0 down at the time he was trying to change fullbacks for 7 minutes before they got the penalty!!

Not adventurous in trying to turn things around.

We know the limited ability in the squad overall but I think a bit of spirit has gone out of the side of late, why I don’t know. I would hope it’s not because of the fans, we have been very patient. At many more Clubs fans would have been calling for the manager to be sacked and the players really lambasted, I don’t think Morecambe fans have been like that in the main, we understand the situation and just want a honest go at things, which I believe we have had from team management to the players.

So a goalkeeper (reluctantly), a playmaker and a good holding player and a goal scorer (extraordinaire).

In the meantime I’d put Macadam and Tollitt up front in a 4-4-2, what’s to lose!!!

I think we looked better in the second half, but, as usual, failed to get a shot on target. 4-4-2 was an improvement. First half was utter crap.

Dackers and Hope again goalless, a rethink? oh and Slew as we have found out is not a loan striker or I think part of a duo.

It’s a shame Angol got an injury, he was becoming more match fit and looked a handful before he went off in his last match.

We need a bit of fight, we have gone flat, we’re are our good performances ?

Bromley were another poor team who came and took all the points again, unfortunately it’s becoming painful to watch.
