FA Cup Replays

FA Cup Replays

Big Clubs: "There are too many games, we need to get rid of FA Cup replays, even if they are a financial benefit to small clubs".

Also Big Clubs: "We need a FIFA Club World Cup tournament, so Big Clubs can get even more money"

Honestly, I wish the FA would grow a pair and tell any 'Big Clubs' that want to, to f*** off and form their own Super League, but that if they ever want to rejoin the FA, they'd have to start in the National League. No FA Cup, no promotion/relegation. Become like American Football, with nothing interesting, and get English football back.

So how did that work out then?

That’s what they want to do but fans are not letting them, the fans got rather upset when a super league was floated and it faded away, for now.

All the foreign owners have no affinity with outer football history, they see a European Super League as inevitable. They would set up their own Cup competition to complement their League.

Their supports would still go and watch them in their droves,

I wonder who we would have been drawn against if Chelsea (and the rest) were not in the FA Cup as Kieth
suggests?

If the premiership teams left everyone else would get promoted up a league, we would be back in League 1 and the National League would be League 2. The Championship teams would be the Premiership teams.

Chelsea are 3rd, so would it have been a day out in Leeds? (They are 3rd).

You'd only get the top six or so going, so West Ham, Aston Villa etc would still be Premier League. Man City v Barcelona in a Super League game will be great for Sky viewers, but I reckon with no promotion or relegation, it would lose its English appeal quite quickly. Millions of viewers in Asia, but real football would get stronger.
