Feel really happy for Ged Brannan this evening. I know that football is a business where supporters tend to want instant success nowadays, but the criticism he has taken in the last week is beyond belief! Both the forum and social media have tried to portray him as a 'cheap option' or generally inept due to lack of experience. For Christ's sake he is literally two minutes into a totally new job and was thrown into the Lions Den at Wrexham who have been throwing millions at quality players.

Some of our supporters need to have a long hard look at themselves. In their working careers how many of them started a new job, in difficult circumstances and were totally infallible from the get go?

Well done Ged. In their faces mate!

100%in agree with you.....he's not the only one to take a lot of needless flak lately.

GED needs to be given a chance, take away the Wrexham game and it was narrow losses by 1 goal. It seems he’s going to let it ride and that’s fine, as he says the quality is there and they will win more than they lose. My point I have been trying to make is away from home against the better teams in our league so far we have come unstuck. A different approach, a slight tinkering with the set up. Just at times I think Mellon would do well feeding off a big lad up front. Still have Bloxham and Adam just with a bit more defensive duties. Some hard games before the second half of the season let’s see where we are.

Great win for Ged. This game was a bit of a ‘free hit’ for him, with it being a cup game against higher opposition and so less pressure on him to get a result. I think we needed this little morale boost before the Stockport game.

Take a look at video on the X account on the OWS and notice in particular the way JJ applauds the fans and then turns his congratulations towards GB.....for me that shows how much JJ has respect in what GB is trying to do.
