No.

If funds were available we could sign a free agent.

Let's hope it is a quick fix because the lad just oozes quality.

With Eli now missing the international call up will that mean that the game next weekend will now have to take place. Not sure if now only 3 certain players on call up ( Adam is only on stand by) will be sufficient for the game to still be off. EFL make / change the rules as they seem fit....always in favour of the Premiership teams

It doesn't affect next weekends postponement.

We still have 4 players called up , Mayor , JJ , Jacob Bedeau and Michael Mellon so that is still one more than the requirement.

We don't know but if Eli can't return then presumably we wouldn't continue to pay a loan fee so maybe something to get a free agent in for 3 month ?

Let's hope Eli returns though.

From what I can remember Eli went down twice following heavy challenges by an Accy player that the referee didn't stop play to award a free kick.

Will be a big miss BUT with Love apparently excelling in that midfield defensive role yesterday allowing both full backs to play in their recognized positions then maybe it's not as bad as it could be. However we will know more this week.

I'm no lover of Love at full back and have been critical of him BUT maybe a centre of mid field position will
prove to be a success over the coming months.

Feels like we’re writing his season off here unnecessarily... hopefully it won’t be too bad and we’ll see him again before too long. In the meantime, Jacob Davenport might get his chance to shine?

It’s a blow so let’s hope it’s not bad news, agree that Love will fill in while he’s away. The little cameos Love played in midfield in the friendlies caught my eye and it means he’s not at full back where he makes mistakes. Songo’o can also play there but all in all Hurry back Eli you will be missed.

I think we are all keeping everything crossed for his speedy return. Could be integral to our hopes of a successful season. Any sort of update would be welcome!
