Lots of old photos of old fans, when they were still young. Who appears the most frequently?

So how did that work out then?

Great to look back! I know we are looking forward as a club, but we always need to remember our roots! :)

What memories of days gone by especially at Christie where my introduction and love affair with MFC started in 1956 in the days of the old wooden main stand and the old shed behind one of the goals.

Fast forward to the final days at Christie and have always felt that the club didn't look seriously into the removal of the Lancaster Road Stand and use it at was then the Globe Arena. Too see that photo of that magnificent stand just a pile of rubble is upsetting.

PMcG was so intent on creating something out of nothing that to dismiss the removal of the stand was never in his thinking....(could be wrong)....but other clubs have moved similar structures ie Northwich Victoria.

The Globe was and still is a step up from Christie but still feel we could have done a lot better when you see what other clubs have done in their moves to pastures new.
