Avanti West Coast o/t

I have been looking at train tickets for the MK Dons away game in November (Carabao Cup)

The Avanti website says you can only book up till the 18th October - Does anyone know when tickets are normally available (how far in advance etc)

We used to do a lot of train trips, can't be @r$ed with things as they are at the moment. Cancellations galore and constantly being late.
Would have done Bristol by train could get down on Friday but nothing available to book back today which appears to be the same most weekends.
Used to get deals 6 weeks in advance but now they arent offering them.

Was going Wycombe by train but the west coast is closed at the weekend of half term.
Can get a W Midlands train from Crewe but nothing to get to Crewe yet .

Hopefully Miss Truss will sort it all out this week :?
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

In normal times advance tickets are usually released 12 weeks before travel. But we are far from normal times so you just have to keep looking at the Avanti website and look out for the deals. We travel a lot to Milton Keynes as my daughter lives there and usually take a Northern or Trans Pennine train to Manchester and then get the Avanti train from there. Again in normal times they run 3 per hour to London, one of which stops at MK and so there is always plenty of availability and it is quicker than the direct trains from here as the MK stoppers go round via Birmingham and are usually very busy as they start in Scotland. Currently though they are down to 1 per hour from Manchester but hope normal service will be resumed before the match. if you can get to Crewe you could also get the West Midlands train to London which stops all stations and so takes more time, but is much cheaper. Good luck with it.

Why not go on the official club coach that they are running to the away games this season. Makes life alot easier, somebody else driving, straight to the ground. The coaches have not been full so far and it would be a shame if the club decides to stop running them ( I presume that if the coaches are not full, then the club loses money). Support the team, support the club, go on the coach.
