Yeah, but a lot of our possession was tippy-tapping around in our own half, while theirs was storming forwards with pace.

We really should have pulled one back there! Then they shouted for a penalty but I think the ref got that one right. Melbourne off for Watts.

Too easy. :( :( :(

They are a decent side, and for periods, we’ve played well, but no real bite up front and individual errors at the back.

At time of posting, five teams yet to score a goal this season. Let’s hope we can at least get off the mark soon.

All their goals have come from shots which could suggest that we don't close down enough....2 from inside the box and the other a shot from outside.

We simply do not shoot enogh in my opinion. I'd never have a go if we shot more even if they miss the onion bag.

At least we are making changes to give others some much needed game time...3 off in the 77th minute.

Ash, Cole and Jake...

Obika with a great chance but ballooned it over. Probably wrong footed.

Next week v Fleetwood is more important than today, but we’ve really not got shots on target, either last week or today. I hope we start positively, from minute one.

Tuesday will be interesting, no idea what to expect?

Despite getting the penalty decision wrong, although that was down to the linesman flagging, I thought the ref had a really good game. It was feisty at times, but only two yellow cards and most of the time, he managed to let the game flow.

Sometimes you are just beaten by the better side

Peterborough are better than us simple as that

Gibbo needs to start in a back 4 from next week

Thankfully not a cricket score and signs of better times.

Posh where a Championship side last season so really didn't expect much but credit to our lads for keeping the score respectful....just wish we could get that first goal even off a backside... ;)

Judas lost 4 1....

The entire season won't get much easier! Fleetwood is a huge game for us (and them). We really need to pick up points in the mini-league at the bottom.

I agree Keith - But Fleetwood won today against a very good Plymouth team so they are going to be on a high next week

We need something from the game though

^esus....doesn't get any easier and we could well struggle to get a win from that lot which is why next week v Fleetwood is so important.

Played well, matched Peterborough and deserved a point. Undone by a pot shot and a chaotic set piece before getting hit on the counter in the second half for the third. A few what ifs - Stockton puts us level with that great chance, or Hunter manages to squeeze it past the keeper in the second half to make it 2-1 etc.

Keep up that overall level of performance and we should get a few points. Taylor and Weir in midfield is very tasty.

Some less than complimentary comments on the Fans Forum about our performance. But what the hell....we know what we are and without the financial input that they and other clubs have in this league we will continue to be the underdogs....but underdogs are not given the credit when they turn in a match winning performance....

Not sure I'd agree that we deserved a point. We didn't really create much, although yes, 'what if' Cole had scored when one-on-one. They should have had a penalty too don't forget. We made it difficult for one of the better sides in League One, but ultimately, I think it was a fair result.

Two one-on-one's missed in the first two matches. Hope we start putting them away soon.

Three out of the four or five best chances in the game were created by us (Stockton, Hunter, Obika). That's enough to be deserving for me. More shots doesn't equal better chances - eg, a shot from 25 yards isn't equivalent to a 1v1 etc.

A shot from 25 yards that goes in, is better than a one-on-one that doesn't!

I agree we had chances, but I don't agree we deserved a point. If we'd got one, it would have been very fortunate in my opinion. And, then we'd be thanking the linesman for a very poor decision too. Shame that when a dubious decision goes our way, it doesn't impact upon the outcome.
