Did people who wanted to go get tickets? Was always wondering how this would work with it obviously going to be oversubscribed or a queue a mile long after the Sunderland game.

They announced it yesterday and it was sold out by tea time, just 150 tickets available, wonder who will get player of the season :?

Vote for Delaney or McDonald I say
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Should be a great do' for the lucky few with tickets. That's if we've avoided the dreaded drop of course.

As for your thoughts on voting for the player of the season I fully concur Marky! Based on the theory that our best player normally gets snatched away shortly afterwards!

I would truly miss Wes's step overs or Delaney's lead boots which prevent him jumping higher than an inch.

But heigh ho you can't stand in a players way to greater things. 8-)

Delaney is a strange one as he got rave reviews on a number of occasions at his former club prior to coming to us. It could well be that under the Judas system that he just didn't fit. Maybe DA will give him an opportunity next season as we know from previous experience that players thrive under his leadership but seem to fade when they depart to pastures new.

I wouldn't be surprised if DA's retained list has one of two surprises in it with former regulars being ushered out of the door to seek their careers elsewhere.

For me as long as we move heaven and earth to retain Mr Carson and Mr Stockton then I'd be happy.

I could see Derek being willing to give Delaney a chance as he does have a record of improving centre backs. I do suspect Judas was asking too much of him.

Seems to play week in week out for Scunthorpe, although they are an absolute car crash this season, game time is game time.

Loaning Duffus out seeming to be a strange move, not sure if he's played a single minute for Stockport.

Manager of the season?

I have to admit surprise at Delaney not being a stalwart of your defence, he was solid for us but did not fit how the club want to play.

Could have been overloaded with information, might have been Bobby Robson who said never ask more than 3 specific actions of a player as they will forget one.

That was exactly the issue Robbo overloaded them and they had no idea what they should be doing where as Derek keeps it simple.
