Fighting on the terraces?

So how did that work out then?

If it's true it's obviously indefensible but Evatt is such a **** that it honestly would not surprise me that he wanted to disrupt the game and that's a good thing to say to make sure it happens. If that is indeed what happened then it worked, I really would struggle to think any Morecambe fan can be racist - if it is true then they should be identified and banned for good but I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it was a tactic by the cretin Evatt.

I don’t think you should even be suggesting that. Surely there’s enough people around to witness and confirm what actually happened. Hopefully this will be done sooner rather than later.

We’ve been cost points today and our reputation will suffer. Feel for the players. Let down by a small amount of fans. Could have a real detrimental effect this.

Thanks to their manager for getting the game stopped with his touchline antics. The ref could and should have sent him off moments before he was responsible for what followed.

The Bolton scum behind the goals or a section of them have shown themselves and their club just what pitifully bunch of mindless morons they are.

The more respectful Bolton fans should be ashamed of that section of fans who are scum. They were like it last season and nothing has changed.

BBC report also refers to Bolton fans throwing objects at Smith. That doesn't condone alleged racist abuse

I think it's best to wait for all the facts before we jump to any conclusions, but I did see coins and bottles thrown at the Morecambe goalkeeper and a number of Bolton supporters go onto the pitch. PS I've just been shown a twitter posting from a Morecambe supporter regarding the Bolton manager going onto the pitch and asking the ref to stop play, it makes interesting reading but I will not repeat it on Shrimpsvoices.
