Not sure what's happening with him despite our defensive issues he hasn't had a look in and doesn't even appear on the bench much, has he played in any of the Papa John's games?

I always thought he was one we were looking to develop for the future but thought he might feature occasionally.

SR is probably judging him by his performances in training but for me he should have been given a chance in the first 11 to see if he is one of many players who perform better on match days than in training.

Have to say that the signing of another inexperienced centre back doesn't thrill me with much optimism that he will solve some of our defensive problems BUT I'm willing give the guy a chance..... :)

It seems logical as one loanee returns to his parent club that we bring in another one BUT I was hoping for someone with experience BUT it could well be that nobody within our wage bracket is available and it is well known that managers in general hate the January window as the only players that appear to be available are surplus at their current club excluding loan deals.

Think he has played him in the league cup and JPT in each game, with the exception of PNE o think. Maybe that was enough to show that he doesn't think he's ready yet?
