Bye-bye League One. It Was Fun to Begin With...

I don't think, and am not even slightly 'hinting' that we need a change in manager. He assembled a new squad almost from scratch, in a matter of a few weeks. Then, was stuck with that squad.

Some people keep mentioning Robbo's reputation for developing players, but not doing it here? Two things, firstly Greg Leigh & Cole Stockton are definitely better players now. Possibly add Liam Gibson to that too.

But more importantly, some players have possibly, simply reached their maximum potential? Stephen Robinson could coach me until the end of time, and I'd never become a League One standard footballer! That's why January is so important. These signings aren't going to be 'rushed', he's had months to scout and decide who he wants. If we head in to the transfer window with players ready to sign on day one, then I'll feel we're ready to kick on. If we end the window with the same squad, possibly minus Cole, then we need to plan for League Two, because the current squad either don't want it enough, or aren't good enough to stay up.

Even if we go back down, that doesn't mean SR isn't the man to lead us on, and back up. We'd need to look at the bigger picture, especially how the club changes the youth development etc. We also need to consider how much money he's given to spend in January. We've had about a million quid in transfer money come in to the club, I hope he's given a decent amount to spend.

League 2 is a very good league with some very good teams

Yes there is bigger clubs in league 1 but if the club did a cheap season ticket deal there is no reason why we couldn’t still get decent crowds especially if we started the season well

It would be disappointing to go down ['never relegated in 101 seasons'] and it will keep getting more difficult to come back up. That said, I'd be more concerned about going in to the National League, as that would be extremely difficult to bounce back from.

If you were a scout from a well funded National League side, like Wrexham, attending the game yesterday, how many of our players would you be interested in if they were all suddenly available? On that performance... ...none?

Couldn't make last night but sounds like a real shocker both on and off the pitch. People were quick to slag off Adams and praise Robinson early in the season but right now I'd definitely take him back. Not ripped up trees at Bradford but he'd get this squad organised and would also bring in a bit of steel. Few 1-0 wins and we would be in with a chance.

The board will know better than us what's going on. Has Robinson lost the dressing room or is he just short on quality? Sure, some will be sulking but this might just be because they know their days are numbered. I only hope that they are brave in their decision making because we need the right people in charge whoever gets bought in.

Whatever happens, we are far from relegated. Also, if some young morons are letting us down with shitty chanting and racist abuse, let's drown them out with songs of our own. I am sure there were 3000+ decent fans in last night, so get behind the team.

Just watched the 3rd goal go in for Doncaster in 28th min. Yes it is bye- bye League 1.
This is the second shocking game in a row against the bottom of the league sides.
The highs of the early season seem forever away.

This is the first time I’ve actually admitted we aren’t good enough for league 1

Out of our depth in a massive massive way

It's a shame that the biggest supporters of average performances over the last 10 years couldn't keep the faith that little bit longer.
