New signings thanks to the Uni

It appears that a number of our new players signed on thanks in part to the excellent training facilities provided by the Uni, in fact one actually said that they are on a par with many Premiership clubs.

I doubt many if any EFL1 club have facilities to match what we can now offer.

We've come a long way from the days of having to clear dog poo before training on Turners Field. Seem to recall Adam's last season claiming that the training facilities did not match his requirements.

Suggest that our relationship with the Uni has changed that in a short period of time..... :) ;)

Looking at the videos/photos this season compared to last, it looks like we're getting way better access to indoor changing facilities/catering etc than last season.

I'm guessing that's likely to be what DA's gripe was. However, this wasn't exactly the club's or the university's fault - was just the situation with COVID etc.

Great to hear that the likes of McCalmont rate it. It's obviously not going to quite be Leeds's training facility, but the fact that he was so impressed by it is a big positive.

Probably better..... can't imagine that Leeds as its own swimming pool or a gym as big as the one our lads use....Need a lot of space for 22 players plus back up staff to have ample room in which to circulate.... :)

I admire the optimism RR  However, it does have swimming pool facilities and all the high tech recovery wizadry etc. I think it's also got a few beds! It was massively upgraded a few years back when Bielsa arrived.

That's not to dumb down the facilities at the university though. They are excellent, particularly for League One level.

Think Leeds also use Leeds Beckett uni, as they have specialist sports equipment
