There is a really strange vibe on here at the moment. SR is putting his team together and i'm pretty sure he knows he has to have at least 11 players to field a team without some of the plonkers on here banging on about it.

Read the Twitter thread about this lad, Bolton fans have nothing but good words to say about him. Give the lad a chance and get behind the new Manager.
+1 to this. Very well thought of by Bolton fans and if they didn't rate him they'd be the first to say so emphatically I'm sure. Happy with the early business (O'Sullivan going is a shame but can't compete with a 3 year deal surely.)

I hope the Bolton fan is right about CMG and King Arthur playing together. My fear is that CMG could move on for a fee before the season starts.

Welcome to The Mazuma Arthur. He looks like a very exciting player so I hope RedAlert1970's fears are groundless.

Thing that worries me is he’s had 5 or 6 moves in last 5 years

Just hope he settles at Morecambe

He's been unlucky the past few years. Season ending injury on his debut for Carlisle; joined Macc just as they were going down the pan; joined Bolton mid-pandemic when everything's all over the place. A bit of stability could work wonders for him.

You could say the same about Toums not really settling at a club since Brentford and look how he’s turned out!

Spot on! Some players just need the right environment/an arm round the shoulder etc. I think it's something the club have generally done pretty well, and something SR seems happy doing.

Some good past examples are the likes of Devitt and Miller, and for younger players Lavelle and Barkhuizen.

League 1 and 2 players only really get 12month or if they are lucky 24month contracts so they do seem to go from club to club. It's the nature of the trade they are in. Sully hit the jackpot with a 3 year deal.
