A really enjoyable visit, despite the loss

A really enjoyable visit, despite the loss

Just sharing positive thoughts on the outstanding matchday experience.
Myself and Mrs managed to attend the Exeter game, her first ever MFC experience and she is now a convert. Being an expat, it was my first live game for 4 years. We had hoped to stay in town longer but owing to unfortunate family circumstances, just trained it from Manchester airport for the day. Everyone we met was brilliant.
The people in the club shop were so friendly and patient when helping with shirt sizes.
The pies are absolutely delicious. Nothing in HK compares.
JB bitter in the bar is a decent pint.
C Prem is a suberb, comfortable place to watch the match from.
Kevin Ellison was a real ambassador for the club when my wife asked him for a quick photo, when he was just leaving the ground after the match. He even took the time to suggest a photo with the stadium as the backdrop.
Freez is such a natural when it comes to speaking in front of everyone for The Man of the Match award, and very forgiving when I unintentionally said Hi while an interview with Jim was going on 2 feet away.
The match day programme is packed with articles and very good value.
I even met Joe Woj in the pub after, by pure chance, and chatted for an hour about his time at Morecambe and Colne and one long standing suspicion was finally confirmed.

It's great to see that Morecambe is still such a friendly and welcoming club and the match day experience is so good.

Good to meet you, drove past the York Hotel at about 7.15pm and saw you in your new shirt, did pip my horn but you didn’t see me.
Don’t worry about the saying hello, you didn’t know, glad you had a great day, pity about the result.

What a refreshing post P. Good of you to take the time, and pleased to hear your good lady is a convert.
Bumping into Joe Woj to top the day off, got to be good.

Yes, that was my first thought!

Glad you had a great day!

So how did that work out then?
